| Boy Scout Troop 2 has been continuously chartered to the First United Methodist Church in Corvallis, Oregon since 1920. Troop 2 is in the Benton District of the Oregon Trail Council. In 1995 we celebrated our 75th anniversary and the historical roster has grown to about 800 over 80 years. There have been 30 Scoutmasters. and 92 Eagles since the troop was first chartered.
Troop 2 meets every Monday night at 7:00 in the basement of the church, at the corner of 11th and Monroe, next to the Oregon State University campus. Many of our Assistent Scoutmasters have been Eagle Scouts from OSU. Our troop committee meetings (parent support group) meets at 7:30 on the Tuesday following the first Thursday of the month. (The District Roundtable for adult leaders meets on the first Thursday.) See an example of our Troop 2 Court of Honor, normally held on a Monday night once each quarter.
